Rembrandt is a 9-year old neutered male who needs an understanding home. He is incredibly sweet and follows women everywhere. When my mom visited he would follow her around when I was not available. He is VERY energetic and sometimes needs some extra attention just to calm him down. He loves his walks and will bring his leash to you if he can get at it. He also smiles a lot!
He has snapped at men, the vet, and small children. He needs to be muzzled to be brushed and I recommend that he be muzzled at the vet. Because of his problem, he needs a home in Austin, TX so we can help with the adjustments.
That sounds nasty, but 95% of the time he is an absolutely wonderful dog. He needs someone with experience with dogs and is willing to take the extra time to win his trust. He lived with older children.
He is neutered, current on all shots and heartworm negative. He needs to have a growth cut from his month about every 3 years. He walks great on a leash, knows sit and down, usually stays off the counter, crate trained and house trained. We are working on not jumping on people, but he gets so excited that he forgets.
