Tasha

Tasha was a young Keeshond who ended up in a shelter in Garland, TX. Someone in the Dallas area adopted her, but gave her back to the shelter when Tasha chased their older cat. Somehow she was labeled cat and dog aggressive and was at risk of being euthanized by the shelter. Anneliese rescued her out of the Garland shelter and we were her foster parents. Yes she chased cats. She definitely was NOT dog aggressive, she just wanted to be alpha. Once she reallized she was not alpha in our home, she stopped barking at our dogs. All she wanted in life was to be petted! She will love anyone who will pet her. If you stop petting she will nudge your arm with her nose. The best way to describe her personality is "very kees".

A few weeks before Tasha entered our home we received a call from a woman in Austin looking for a female Keeshond. Her heart had a void when her loving 13 year old kees passed away. Tasha was ready to fill that void! She was adopted on Easter, April 12, 1998. Her new dad is retired and Tasha is ready to be petted all day long! She has 2 new sisters. A fiesty fox terrior that weighs about 10 lbs and a sweet lab.

Now she is called "Charlea" and she is her new mom's shadow.
